Yesterday Jack and I went to the Susan Philipsz sound installation at the Radcliffe Observatory. We spent about an hour walking around in circles trying to find it, so by the time we finally arrived it was quarter to five. It was absolutely stunning, the whole of the city was lit up and it's actually impossible to describe how surreally beautiful it was. I think I'm probably going to go back this afternoon to see it in daylight, but I'm not going to make the mistake of not taking my camera this time.
I took photographs using my mobile, but they honestly do the space no justice. I can actually think of no other place I would rather live, it is absolutely stunning.
In the evening we went to see Deer Tick play their first headlining show in London. It was completely sold out, and they were brilliant. They ended the show by disguarding of their microphones and wandering through the crowds singing at the top of their lungs.
